Insulation built into drywall walls and ceilings

Insulation performs best when the entire drywall construction is planned as one system. ArtFix combines suitable insulation with precisely finished walls and ceilings across Nijmegen and the surrounding area.

Improve acoustic comfort

Insulation within a partition, wall lining or ceiling can help reduce sound transfer and control reverberation. Performance depends on more than the insulation material alone: the full build-up and its connections to floors, ceilings and adjacent walls also matter. ArtFix therefore assesses each situation individually and does not make unsupported claims that a standard drywall solution will make a room completely soundproof.

Thermal insulation behind plasterboard

A drywall lining or ceiling can provide space for thermal insulation while keeping the material concealed behind a clean interior finish. This approach can suit different types of homes, offices and commercial properties, depending on the existing construction. ArtFix selects an appropriate build-up and can finish the surface through plastering and painting.

One coordinated construction and finish

A paid consultation and site survey are used to assess the existing structure, available space and project goals. ArtFix then provides a fixed project price for the agreed insulation, drywall construction and finishing. Every project benefits from 15 years of experience, more than 100 completed projects and the use of high-quality, proven materials. Completed work is covered by a warranty under the conditions stated in the proposal.

Drywall insulation questions

Will insulated drywall make a room completely soundproof?

Not necessarily. Complete soundproofing cannot be promised without technical assessment and a purpose-designed construction. A suitable build-up can, however, improve acoustic comfort.

Can an existing wall or ceiling be insulated?

Often, yes. Possible approaches include a new wall lining, dropped ceiling or partial reconstruction. The available space and existing build-up must be assessed first.

Which insulation material does ArtFix use?

Materials are selected according to the construction, available depth and desired acoustic or thermal effect. ArtFix uses proven products rather than prescribing one material for every project.

How are price, schedule and warranty determined?

The consultation and site survey are paid. Following assessment, ArtFix provides a fixed project price and schedule. Warranty terms for the completed work are documented in the proposal.
